I am a Spanish photographer based in Nottingham (UK).

My documentary work focuses on issues such as immigration, sexuality and gender identity. I have collaborated with charities that support victims of sexual abuse and I am a member of MUM, a Madrid-based organisation helping women who have experienced domestic violence, and COGAM, Madrid’s LGBTQ+ collective.

In 2019 I was selected as one of the UK’s more politically relevant artists from both sides of the Brexit campaign and invited to show my work as part of the ‘Take Back Control’ exhibition at the Crypt Gallery in London. The show and accompanying works were featured in the London and international press.

That same year, my work was shortlisted for the prestigious Ruth Borchard Self-Portrait Prize and shown at Piano Nobile Kings Place between May and October 2019 alongside works from contemporary British artists such as David Dawson and Colin Davidson.

In 2021, my work was selected by the British Journal of Photography for Edition365, the journal’s first NFT virtual exhibition and ‘a once-in-a-century photography collection, conceived to stand as a historical reference for decades to come’. My work was part of a limited edition collection sold via NFT auction, and also featured in a collectible photobook.

In 2023, selected works from my ‘Treescapes’ collection will feature on the set of a new TV series written, directed an executive produced by an international Oscar-winning director.

I have also collaborated with Rankin Creative in ‘THE UNSEEN’ (2022), an exhibition at London’s Quantus Gallery that showcases artistic content that has been censored on social media. The project’s aim was to source community-led solutions and take the sum of all the work on show to social media owners, the media industry and governments directly.

I have shown my photography nationally and internationally and my work is archived at the V&A, The British Library and Historic England, amongst other institutions. My continuous professional development is supported by Arts Council England.
